nintendo mario princess rosalina

The soft blog didn’t got new art from a month then two illustrations in a row, I know it should be managed to make them more regularly but basically I post art with the same order I get it (with some exceptions. So if I get 2 SFW pieces then 12 NSFW they will be posted in this order instead of 1 SFW each 6 NSFW, the idea is to make it fair for all artist and don’t ave some wait for too long before get their art posted.

Also trying to clean a bit the project, I deleted the Luma avatar page from archive, since no one visit it and it’s just small avatars made from full illustration there will have no content lost. Anyway I need to be carefull cause I did a mistake cleaning the database and the site was down an hour last Sunday.

As I already said, Rosalina always looks different with artist that all have their own style and vision of that marvellous princess, anyway even with the same artist depending the style or art technique he use then Rosalina can looks different. It’s what you can see with this illustration by Lunakiri who drew a cute tiny Rosalina with traditional art, anyway I’m curious with this design and not sure if it’s realistic or chibi, what your opinion guys?

As if often happen with illustration, Lunakiri started with a sketch that only need a few lines to be really cute and must admit with blank eye it looks like a lovely tiny ghost Rosalina, no? Then came a proper line and colouring, I really admire how Lunakiri managed the dress shading and you can also see her unique touch giving Rosalina blue lipstick. I’m just surprised the eye colour is green, maybe was too much if blue and also since purple is her favourite colour she should have use it on the Luma… ^^

Of course we can’t go so detailled as digital art but traditional art keep something special and magic, there is this piece I show you with you but on her side Lunakiri have somewhere is her house the original and unique version than no one can make a copy paste. Anyway if you are tempted, Lunakiri can offer traditional commission for an illustration to an entire notebook shipped to you once complete, prices aren’t the same but I consider her so cheap as talented so if you are tempted or curious don’t miss send her a message for more fresh informations… ^__^
